Arsha Kula Foundation, the charity behind the World Yoga Festival would like to invite you to join us for Yoga, Vedanta and Relaxation on the beautiful Cesme Peninsula in Turkey. Take some time away from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the wisdom of the Vedas and practise Asanas in a tranquil environment, surrounded by nature and sea views. You will be able to tap into your inner peace and silence, relax into your being and find answers to the questions we all ask ourselves – Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? – etc.


Each morning we will start with an hour of mild, gentle Asanas, guided with individual support from Sandra Tiidt (500 hrs RYT in Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga). You will learn how to stretch your muscles and lubricate your joints in a safe, stable and comfortable way, which may help you establish an individual Yoga practice for your day-to-day routine. You will discover the ease of movement with the breath and the joy of starting your morning in a wholesome and holistic manner.

After Asana, we will practice the ancient science of Pranayama – breathwork. You will learn to wake up from within and channel your energies in a way that helps to achieve peace and clarity of mind and gain the strength needed to accomplish everything you require to accomplish during the day.

The Vedanta classes taught by Ram Banerjee (co-founder of the World Yoga Festival) will be dedicated to answering the fundamental question of Who am I and how do I remove my ignorance about my True Nature. You will be introduced to the knowledge mechanism required to find out who you truly are and the Vedas as the user manual to a human life.

All levels of students are welcome at the retreat – whether you are a beginner at Vedanta and Yoga or a seasoned practitioner you will find something to take away with you and implement into your own life.
