Coming Home to Oneself
Immersive Vedanta Camp | 17–23 January 2027
Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Anaikatti, South India
Join us for a week of traditional Vedanta study in the peaceful surroundings of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, founded by Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, where he taught many of the disciples who went on to become Vedanta teachers around the world.
Guided by Swami Brahmavidananda and Swamini Brahmaprajnananda, this camp offers an opportunity to step away from everyday life, immerse yourself in the teachings of Vedanta and experience the simplicity of traditional Gurukulam living.
Throughout the week, our days will include:
Traditional Vedanta study
Meditation and chanting
Satsang and group discussions
Time for contemplation and reflection
Morning and evening puja at the Gurukulam temple
Accommodation and meals
We will follow a simple Gurukulam lifestyle, staying in modest, comfortable rooms with basic en-suite bathrooms. Wholesome Indian vegetarian meals will be served together in the dining hall.
This is an opportunity to live simply, study deeply and dedicate a week to learning, reflection and inner growth.
Dates
The camp begins on 17 January and concludes on the evening of 23 January 2027.
Registration and contributions
Accommodation and meals for the week cost £55 (approximately INR 6,500).
In keeping with tradition, participants are also invited to make a voluntary offering to the teachers. The suggested contribution is £51, although you are welcome to give more or less. The amount is entirely your choice.
