Essential Vedanta for Beginners

A series of four weekly in-person classes with Ram Banerjee

Who am I? Why do I seek happiness and can I find lasting peace?

Advaita Vedanta is an ancient teaching rooted in the Upanishads that explores these universal questions.

Advaita means "non-duality", the understanding that our true Self is not separate from the limitless reality called Brahman.

Through clear explanations, everyday examples and thoughtful enquiry, this introductory course invites you to discover how this wisdom relates to your own life.

No previous knowledge is needed, simply curiosity and a willingness to explore.

About Ram Banerjee

Ram Banerjee is co-founder of the World Yoga Festival and a meditation and Advaita Vedanta teacher.

Originally trained as a computer scientist at Cambridge, his search for a deeper understanding of life led him to Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and the study of Vedanta.

He has been sharing these teachings through regular classes, talks and guided meditations since 2010, making a profound subject accessible to beginners.

In 2018, he was honoured with the title Arsha Vidya Yogashree by Swami Santatmananda at the Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh.
